In 2003, this Country singer recorded the “American Soldier,” a lovely song about a soldier being deployed, and that’s when we understood just how much this guy respects our military. Just recently, Toby even did a surprise performance for a military wife!
But that’s not all!
Some celebrities will only appear on TV just to promote their music and have no time to honor our heroes, but Keith is a guy of his own character. In 2009, he actually took a flight to Afghanistan to sing for the troops!
In fact, we can’t list the number of times he’s gone overseas!

Keith went to perform in Cleveland, OH, where he asked to meet Trevor Scott, a 10-year-old boy who happens to be a great fan of his. Trevor requested to join Keith on stage to take on the “American Soldier,” which he so loves. Keith couldn’t say no!

Just 3 days after the duet, Scott had a successful liver transplant. Great!
